The Indian born name, Ayurveda, is the ultimate way to bring body, mind and soul in harmony. It is one of the oldest methods of medical literature to cure worst of the ailments. For more than 5000 years, Ayurveda has been an essential part of healthcare system. It focuses on your overall well being by following some easiest of the methods which are surprisingly available around us. As a science of self healing, Ayurveda includes everything, starting from diet and nutrition to exercises and medical herbs. It is a wholesole holistic approach to a healthier and a longer life, as mentioned by our ancestors.

Here, we have unveiled some of the primeval ways of moving towards a fitter state of mind and body.

  1. For hair health

Pitta dosha causes hairfall, according to the words of Ayurveda. Some other reasons could be certain hormonal imbalances which lead to hairfall in men and women. To balance the pitta dosha, it is necessary to include cool food items in our diet. This includes, buttermilk, coconut oil and curd. Incorporating fruits like melons, grapes and pomegranates leads to heal the hair.

A simple juice like coconut water is rich in calcium, which in turn, causes hair growth and helps in improving overall hair health. Also, Bhringraj, the king of herbs, works wonders in getting the hair health on track. You just need to mix a few drops of Bhringraj oil to your regular oil and give yourself a quick massage. It works as a natural conditioner for your hair, also working on the overall hair texture.

Isn’t it so amazing?

  1. For healthy skin

These trending chemical products usually harm our skin! Switching to natural methods of keeping our skin healthy and fresh is suggested by Ayurveda. Sandalwood is considered as the magic remedy for glowing and healthy skin. It works on the overall texture of the skin and makes it look fresh, smooth and flawless. It also helps in treating acne prone areas of your skin. All you have to do is to make a paste of Sandalwood powder with turmeric and rose water. You can apply this mask on your skin and see how rejuvenating it is!

In addition to that, including food items like beetroot, carrot and pomegranate in your regular eating schedule helps in healing the skin from within, by purifying your blood.

Ayurveda is the sure shot method to look upto, whenever it is about troubled skin.

  1. For stomach issues

Most common stomach related problems like gas, bloating and indigestion could be easily cured by Ayurveda. It could start with following some basic rules like making sure you sit down and eat. It is because your stomach needs to be relaxed while eating to function properly. It is said that most of our stomach problems occur when our Agni or digestive chakra is weak. To make it stronger, you can start with consuming a teaspoon of freshly grated ginger with a pinch of salt and a few drops of lime. They activate the salivary glands to produce the digestive enzymes. Having carom seeds (ajwain) water , by boiling a pinch of seeds , helps in keeping your digestive glands healthy.

How easy Ayurveda makes our lives! It surely is a great way to lead a fresh, natural and robust lifestyle. So, when are you planning to adapt yourself to this incredible medicament?
